Al and Tipper Gore separate after 40 years of marriage. This might seem that Al Gore and Tipper Gore did not strived in building strong relationship for their affair. But the Gore couple ended their marriage in a mutually supportive decision. Al Gore announced the news in an email:
“This is very much a mutual and mutually supportive decision that we have made together following a process of long and careful consideration,” they wrote. “We ask for respect for our privacy and that of our family, and we do not intend to comment further.”


Al Gore and Tipper Gore just celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. This is one of the reasons why the “Al and Tipper Gore Separate” news stunned the public.
Al Gore and Tipper Gore have been known having an image of a happily married couple during his eight-year stint as vice president in the 1990s and a presidential candidate in 2000. Al Gore and Tipper Gore locked lips at the 2000 Democratic National Convention where Al Gore was nominated as the Democratic presidential nominee that year.
Al Gore lost the 2000 presidential election to Republican George W. Bush. Al Gore keeps on campaigning worldwide awareness to climate change, which in 2007 led to a Nobel Peace Prize and an Oscar for the documentary “An Inconvenient Truth.”
