Sources like Hollywood Chicago etc. report that a more confident and promising new season of the #1 television show of 2009, Royal Pains is all set to open its second season on Thursday this week. And the latest season is not the only thrilling thing for the audience. There is this glamorous actress Reshma Shetty back in the new season of the show.
Reshma Shetty played the role of Divya Katdare in the first season of Royal Pains and continues with her character. She is the Physician Assistant of the protagonist Henry “Hank” Lawson played by Mark Feuerstein.
Hank is a former New York emergency room doctor who was very successful in his professional career till he was dismissed in a malpractice suit. Reshma as Divya joins Hank’s team early and is invaluable to Hank.
Reshma Shetty was born to Bunt Indian parents and was brought up in England and Richmond, Virginia. She started with her studies of pre-med at James Madison University, however switched to graduation with a B.A. in Opera performance. She is a Master of Music in performance from the University of Kentucky and has earned her artist diploma in opera in 2005 from the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music.
