Mom. She's known for her perms, constantly mispronouncing people's names, and insisting on coming into the party to pick us up. And no matter how many times we roll our eyes and ask her to please not be so embarrassing, she reminds us that she brought us into the world and has earned the right to do whatever she wants. Truth is, it's a small price to pay for having someone who thinks we're the smartest, funniest, and most talented (even when there's evidence to the contrary). So, this Mother's Day, let's celebrate mom for always being there for us; still, it wouldn't hurt for her to stop picking up the phone when we're already on the line.
