Monday Night Football

 Football players are hearty folks, and play in almost any weather. Almost.  With the exception of a tropical system, the only other weather event that will force players off of the field is lightning.  Monday Night Football was delayed until 7:25pm due to the dangerous weather in metro New York and the New Meadowlands Stadium.

As rare as it is for a weather related football game delay, this makes two games in two days impacted the NFL. On Sunday afternoon, a vicious thunderstorm delayed the Denver Broncos in Jacksonville for . It was the third time in five games (including preseason) that Jacksonville had a lightning related delay.
