Yellow Lobster

A yellow lobster was discovered in Rhode Island's Narragansett Bay last week by Lobsterman Denny Ingram. The chances of finding this genetically rare lobster? Approximately 1 in 30 million.
Ingram tells the Providence Journal that the lobster, which is golden on top and bright yellow on both sides, is about a pound and a quarter, "A perfect little male."
Recent yellow lobster discoveries:
On August 1, 2006, a Maine lobsterman named David Percy caught a yellow lobster near Whaleback Island at the mouth of the Kennebec River.
On June 11, 2009, a yellow lobster was reported by The Boston Globe as having been caught off the coast of Prince Edward Island, Canada. The lobster was caught by Michael R. Gagne, sales manager at Ipswich Shellfish Company, Inc in MA.
On April 30, 2010, a yellow lobster named "Leilani" was reported by HawaiiNewsNow. The female lobster is now in the hands of employees from Waikiki Aquarium.
