Duke Lacrosse

The Duke Lacrosse team has won its first NCAA title. The Duke Lacrosse team beat the Notre Dame lacrosse team in overtime to claim the NCAA title.

The NCAA title game went into overtime, but it only took Duke 5 seconds to score. Duke defenseman CJ Costabile scored just 5 seconds into overtime to give Duke Lacrosse the title.

The Duke Lacrosse team has been known in recent years for a scandal that occurred in 2006. The 2010 lacrosse team has done all it can to restore Duke's name to greatness.

“It’s a culmination of four years for the seniors,” Duke coach John Danowski said in an on-field television interview. “It’s a win, and it just means the world that these guys can
share in this.”
