The news came just before Nick Swisher hit a two-run homer in the opener of the Yankees’ four-game series against the Cleveland Indians in the Bronx. The Bombers beat the Indians, 8-2.
This is the second engagement for the 30-year-old Joanna Garcia, who was previously linked to Trace Ayala, Justin Timberlake’s bestfriend. They called off their engagement and Joanna was briefly reported dating “One Tree Hill” star Robert Buckley.
29-year-old Swisher went public about his romance with Joanna back in September 2009. During an interview with Sports Illustrated, the baseball player confirmed, “She is my lady. Joanna is my lady.”
Joanna Garcia is an American television and film actress best known for her portrayal of Cheyenne Hart-Montgomery on The CW sitcom Reba and her leading roles on short-lived series Welcome to The Captain and Privileged.
