SmashBurger is a burger chain that currently has restaurants in the following states: Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Nevada, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Jersey, California, Ohio, Oklahoma, Texas, and Utah.
According to the SmashBurger web site,
"smashburger was born to carry the torch for the modern burger lover. Where smash. sizzle. savor means a dedication to creating the best-tasting "cooked-to-order" burger. We start with 100% Angus Beef, smashed, seared and seasoned on the grill, placed on a butter-toasted artisan bun and topped with the highest-quality cheeses, freshest produce and condiments. A place where you can get a 1/3 or 1/2 pound burger with one of our great recipes or you can create your own. A place that is close to home and affordable. Where the energy is comfortable and relaxed. Where the food is served to you quickly and on a plate - not in a bag. In-store, online, or call ahead -- smashburger is the better way.
smashburger is fast becoming every city's favorite burger place. It is perfect for eating in or having a better burger to go, a quick workday lunch, the weekend burger and beer, date night, a family dinner, or with the team after the game. smashburger has something great for everyone. Along with our great-tasting burgers and smashfries - smashchicken sandwiches and signature salads, veggie frites and haystack onions, Häagen-Dazs shakes and bottled beer and wine - help make smashburger every city's favorite burger place."
SmashBurger actually sounds like a place I would enjoy. Unfortunately, however, there isn't one in our vicinity. Probably the best burger place I've ever eaten is Red Robin, with Five Guys Burgers and Fries coming in second. I like burgers, but I like them to be moist and not greasy. Very few burger places can fit that bill.
Do you have a SmashBurger near you? Have you eaten at a SmashBurger yet? I'd love to hear your reviews if you have. And in the meantime, I guess I'll just have to satisfy myself by cooking burgers on our grill, until there is a SmashBurger in New Hampshire!
